Mrs. Culver is a certified teacher who has lived abroad in South America and has traveled overseas extensively. Her experience has enabled her to broaden students’ learning and personal visions to consider their God-given influence globally and locally. She teaches with love and enjoys seeing students get excited about learning.

Mrs. Mehall is a U.S. Army veteran and has 22 years of teaching and administration experience. She inspires students to build practical life skills along with academic excellence. Mrs. Mehall consults students and parents through the high school process and helps students prepare for CLEP and Dual-Credit class opportunities.

Mrs. Turner has taught 12 years in the public and private school setting and 3 years homeschooling her own children. She is certified in elementary and special education. She works hard to nurture her students' love for learning by keeping their hands busy and their minds full!
Mrs. Pair was a public school teacher for 6 years and certified in elementary, mid-level, and ESL education. She graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. She strives to create an environment where students can see connections between what they are learning in class and their everyday lives.
Ms. Norwood grew up living all over the world. The most exciting place she lived was Ethiopia, and she developed a passion to work with children in education because of her experience there. She loves kids of all ages and thinks her young age helps her to connect with them on a different level. Ms. Norwood's goal is to help students believe in themselves, and to use the Bible and the Holy Spirit to guide them through life. She is excited to be an assistant at Legacy Christian Academy!

Mrs. Burton has taught children's Bible classes for over 20 years, English as a foreign language online for two years, and has homeschooled her four children for the past four years. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing Management, an Associate's degree in Vocal Music, and certifications in teaching English as a foreign language and basic Bible studies. She loves working with children and seeing them grow and flourish both academically and in their own unique areas of interest.
Mrs. McClean brings energy and sunshine with her to school every day! She loves people of all ages and especially little ones. She busily creates a loving, interactive environment for our youngest students. Mrs. McClean has served one year at LCA working with Pre-School and Pre K, though she and her husband Steve are both officially retired. When opportunity opens the door, they go on Instrumental Mission Trips around the world with Global Missions Project and Christian music arranger Camp Kirkland and music teams (Steve plays clarinet and saxophone). They also serve together at FBC Dennis.

Ms. Stone has worked in early childhood education since 2014 and loves working with children. She finds It rewarding to help children learn and grow. She earned her certification to teach pre-school in 2019, and began working at Legacy last January. She adores the school and is excited to start the new school year. Ms. Stone also loves art and is our upper and lower elementary Art teacher.

Ms. Bernstein is excited to be at Legacy and looks forward to working with all the students and their families. She was in the top 15% of her high school graduating class, then attended Clarendon College, where she played volleyball and majored in Physical Education. After a knee injury cut her college volleyball career short, she transferred to Tarleton University, where she is majoring in Kinesiology and minoring in Education/Coaching. Ms. Bernstein lives in Tolar, where she is very active in her church, Tolar Baptist. She is a coach for Revolver Volleyball Club and offers private volleyball lessons. When she is not studying, coaching, or giving lessons, Ms. Bernstein enjoys spending time with her Peridoodle named Daisy, decorating, shopping, and volunteering at her church as a youth leader. Being an athlete herself, she likes to watch all types of sports and encourages others to be involved in any type of physical activity. Ms. Bernstein's prayer is that she can motivate the students at Legacy to accept God's gift of salvation and to grow in their faith.

Mrs. Freeh enjoys art, creating things, teaching, and being in nature. Family is her greatest joy in life, and her dedication to her students is shown in the classroom. Mrs. Freeh has a degree in Hospitality Management and a Masters in Elementary Education. She headed up our Robotics program last year and is looking forward to more robotics fun this coming year.
Mr. Phillips has served in bi-vocational pastoral positions in the Granbury and Glen Rose area for almost 30 years. He is currently serving as pastor of Rainbow Baptist Church in Rainbow, Texas. He has a B.S. in Engineering Information Systems (U.S.F.) and a Masters of Church Music; Voice Performance (S.W.B.T.S.). As a pastor and leader of secular teams, Pastor Phillips has extensive experience in teaching and mentoring others in Biblical, technical, and personal growth. He has a passion to develop student interests in technology and process, while mentoring students in personal and spiritual growth. As volunteers, he and his wife Audrey look forward to joining what God is already doing at Legacy Christian Academy.

Mrs. Brown has homeschooled for 20 plus years, has been married 30 years, and is mother to 9 children. She serves LCA with the intention of continuing to impact the next generation by equipping and inspiring others to excel academically while carrying the truth of the gospel into the future. Combining her love of learning with a lifetime of skills related to teaching, parenting, and whole-hearted living, Mrs. Brown collaborates with LCA staff and parents to move LCA into the future!
Mrs. Harris has been involved in educating children for over 30 years, from the classroom to the mission field, and beyond! She believes in the goodness of every good and perfect creation of God’s world and that our responsibility as parents and educators is to enlighten, encourage, challenge, and SHAPE the hearts, minds, and souls of our students while demonstrating grace, love, forgiveness, and compassion in the name of the Father. Mrs. Harris is a mother of two and grandmother of seven. She has lived internationally and in four different U.S. states, and has taught in junior colleges and high schools in 4 different districts. Mrs. Harris has been married to her high school sweetheart for 42 years. She has a special interest in assisting students with career assessment and business skills.
